Open to everyone! (Not just Presbyterian members)

 Every Wednesday:  6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

($10/child or $15/family) -- One-time cost for entire program

(Program will take a break after April)

Confirmation Class Serves Food at Bethel Mission (Des Moines) in December

A Group from the Carroll Presbyterian Church spent a Monday helping sever food to people in the Des Moines area at the Bethel Mission off University Avenue. For most of the group this was a first-time experience seeing a Christian Mission program first-hand. The experience was part of the confirmation class schedule. "I believe our young people enjoyed the opportunity to help others," said Rev. Fitzsimmons. "We plan to make Hope Ministries in Des Moines a part of our outreach ministry at First Presbyterian Church. We are working with the organization to schedule our church on a monthly basis to help at the Bethel Mission."

 

The names of the people are as follows: Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzsimmons, Peyton Raglein, Samantha Rucker, Tyler Promes, Blaise Hass, Nicole Tait, Megan Worley, Ashlyn Schettler, Tony and Christy Schettler (other adults).
